Jo Hollis has worked as a journalist for the BBC for over 30 years, covering all sorts of community and racial equality issues and has been a champion for diversity. She is a native English speaker but also speaks some European languages, including French, Italian and Spanish. As well as reporting, Jo works on the radio reading the news. During her career she's also worked for the BBC World Service in both East and West Africa.
More recently, Jo has qualified as a teacher for students whose first language is not English and has been teaching students at a local college. She is keen to start assignments with the Hano academy.
