Prof. Michael Compton

Michael Compton is a strategy consultant with 25+ years of senior level industry experience, working with recognizable fortune 500 consumer and B2B brands. He’s worked on brands for companies such as P&G, Oral -B, Kroger, the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, Mattel, Disney, Hasbro, Kraft, Universal Studios, Sega, Crash Bandicoot, Sonic the Hedgehog, and many other category leaders. He’s designed, manufactured, and sold products into Walmart, Target, Toys-R-Us, and many other mass- retailers in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle-east. Mike has published, presented and conducted workshops in mixed methods research at conferences internationally. For the last five years, he was working as an Assistant Professor at Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD), teaching Master of Design, Masters in Integrative Design, CCAD’s graduate level business innovation programs. In addition to his industry research activity, he is a Hano advisor and lecturer as well as speaker and trainer at the 2019 Somali STEM Summit in Mogadishu, Somalia.
