Course Overview

The Certificate in Peace & International Relations is a five-day, 40-hour professional training course designed to develop participants' knowledge, analytical abilities, and practical skills in peacebuilding, international relations, diplomacy, conflict analysis, negotiation, foreign policy, international law, regional cooperation, and strategic communication.

Participants will move beyond theoretical learning through practical exercises, case studies, group discussions, negotiation activities, policy development exercises, and a final Horn of Africa Peace & Security Summit simulation .

The course consists of 13 modules organized across five thematic training days, followed by applied case studies, final assessments, course evaluation, and certification.
